Keep Your Firm Far Away From Whatever AI Chevy Was Using

Who knew getting a truck could be this affordable?

It seems like AI is being heralded as the go-to fix all for business problems. Inefficient workers? You need AI. Inefficient AI? You need even better AI. Looking for an easy excuse to the stuff without looking like a luddite?  How’s about not wanting a program that can be manipulated into automatically producing contracts that net a ~$56k loss each time?

In all fairness, the contract wasn’t actually enforced and it looks like another like it won’t be happening any time soon:

Finally, the business has corrected the ChatGPT issue that allowed a car customer to purchase a Chevrolet Tahoe for a dollar. It serves as a reminder of the possibility of AI faults and the significance of combining human intelligence with AI technology. While the transaction did not go through, it sparked speculation about what may have happened if it had.

Will Chevrolet’s hotfix prevent this from being a perfect hypo for some 2L taking an advanced contracts course? No way in hell.
