UK-founded information governance vendor LegalRM has hired Antony Wells as its new sales director for UK, Ireland & Northern Europe, while Raj Chambore joins as global pre-sales manager, we can reveal. Both join from legal technology consultancy Ascertus.
In his new role, Wells will oversee the company’s expansion in Europe, with Chambore supporting firms globally through the sales cycle, working in conjunction with LegalRM’s VP of operations for North America, Kandace Donovan. Both Wells and Chambore are established names in the legal technology sector, having previously spent many years working together at iManage partner Phoenix Business Solutions (now part of Morae Global). Wells spent a few months at DocsCorp before moving to rival iManage partner Ascertus in 2017, while Chambore worked at Trinogy for over five years before joining Ascertus in 2019.
LegalRM founder and CEO Chris Giles told Legal IT Insider that the hires are a reflection of how fast the company is growing, flagging that it has had a number of significant new wins both in Europe and the US. LegalRM’s flagship product is iCompli, which primarily competes with iManage Records Manager and FileTrail. iCompi helps to automate the retention or disposal of client data in compliance with multiple policies. It also enables physical records tracking.
Giles said of Wells and Chambore’s hire: “Our business has doubled in revenue and profitability year on year for the last four years and their extensive knowledge and experience of our sector will play a pivotal role in our future growth objectives in Europe.”
