Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has selected The Professional Alternative to deliver digital skills training, personal development and operational best practice training to all of its people, we can reveal.

The Professional Alternative, which provides compliance and personal development training for accountancy and law firms, will be working with staff across the entire firm.

Tim Dale, director of knowledge at Pinsent Masons said: “Enabling our people is core to Pinsent Masons and developing digital skills is becoming increasingly important in a fast-changing sector. This will help us continue to deliver world class service to our clients. Giving our people on-demand access to a wide range of training opportunities also helps us upskill and retain our employees in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

The Professional Alternative, co-founded by Steve Parrott, now has 35 clients and 12000 e-learning platform users across the UK’s professional service sector. The platform includes content from 160+ expert contributors.

Parrott said: “Progressive law firms understand that their lawyers need to not only understand how to use the technology they have internally, but also to be able to converse intelligently with clients about technology. Digital skills training has moved from ‘nice-to-have’ to essential in delivering client services.”
