Today (3 May) we’re excited to soft launch our updated UK Top 200, which shows you the core systems in use at each of the UK’s top 200 largest firms by revenue.
Through a multi-prong research process, we have engaged directly with law firms and vendors, as well as checking our own wins and deals articles, in order to ensure that the information in the table is up to date.
The information recorded is at the point of selection, not necessarily roll out. People use the Top 200 in order to gauge the choices being made at that time by the market. As you know, rolling out technology, particularly core systems, can take a long time. If there is any change after a selection decision has been made, that will be reflected further down the line.
Where we have not received updated information and have no reason to believe that core systems have changed, we have used our existing data from 2020.
The UK Top 200 will remain free to access and we encourage you to view it as a community resource. If there are any changes that you would like made to your firm’s entry, please contact caroline@legaltechnology.com
It has been far easier to update the Top 100 than the second half of the table, and the reason for a ‘soft launch’ is in order to help us to continue to update and perfect the table. Going forward we will go back to updating it annually.
We have some really exciting plans for the UK Top 200 that we will announce this year that will be of huge benefit to the legal tech community, so get involved and watch this space!
