Proxiio Global Solutions, an India-headquartered alternative legal services provider for law firms and corporate legal departments, today (12 March) announces its official launch in the United States. It has delivery facilities in Gurugram in Delhi, and sales and marketing leadership based out of the United States: the launch follows the hires this year of VP of sales, Dominic Hithon (ex TransPerfect Legal Solutions and Ligl), and VP of business development, Peter Vasquez (ex Consilio and Xact Data Discovery).
Co-founded by Sanjay Singh and Sanjay Newatia in 2023, Proxiio specialises in litigation and investigation services, including eDiscovery, compliance management, DSARs, contract management, witness preparation and claims evaluation. One USP is that it offers guaranteed predictable pricing, meaning, it says, that the quote it gives customers will be the final bill.
Singh has a banking background, with multiple senior roles including, most recently, founder of Polestar Capital Advisory & Investment Holdings, and also co-founder of lending marketplace Finplex Technologies. Before that he was managing director of investment banking at Credit Suisse in Mumbai. Newatia, also formerly a managing director at Credit Suisse, is founder and CEO of London-based high net worth consultancy SKN Advisors. Newatia has previously been mentioned in press articles in connection with the Pandora Papers leak as he is a director of companies said to be linked to Indian billionaire Gautam Adani.
Proxiio’s CEO is Deepak Mishra, was previously director of professional services at AT&T.
