Elevate acquires Asian language doc review company CJK Group

Global alternative legal services provider Elevate has acquired The CJK Group, which specialises in reviewing and analysing Asian language content for litigation, investigations, and transaction-based due diligence. CJK’s founder Jonathan Rossi joins Elevate as a VP. The amount is undisclosed.

Based in the US and Japan, CJK specialises in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages.
This is the first acquisition from Elevate since it purchased five companies in under three months in 2019, securing $25m to fuel its growth spurt.
Jake Hills, Elevate’s vice president of discovery, said: “The CJK team brings a deep understanding of the linguistic, cultural, organisational, and process nuances for Asian cross-border matters. Customers who trust Elevate for English and European language review will now benefit from CJK’s bilingual attorneys, project managers, and experts for efficiency and excellence in software-powered Asian-language reviews.”
