With today’s digitally-driven landscape, lawyers increasingly rely on various technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client service. As technology becomes more crucial to your day-to-day duties, so too do your responsibilities and the ethical standards that need to be maintained. As they say, with great power comes great responsibility!
As technology continues to change and evolve, attorneys are faced with various ethical considerations such as “What are your duties when storing and transmitting confidential client information?” and “What if the tech used is susceptible to unauthorized access by third parties?” While technology is useful in streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency, ultimately you will need to consider the heightened responsibility of this double-edged sword and ask yourself what needs to be done as you navigate the various ethical implications.
But have no fear! You are welcome to join our upcoming, free Justia Webinar with Salar Atrizadeh as he guides you through what you need to consider and what you can do when evaluating and using any kind of technology in your day-to-day legal work.
