Artificial Lawyer is Back – From April 10

Hi everyone, I have an announcement to make. As promised, I am returning from my sabbatical and Artificial Lawyer will be back to regular publishing from Wednesday, April 10. If you’d like to get in contact, share some news, or have a chat about legal tech and innovation then the editorial and advertising teams (also known as me) can be reached at richard@artificiallawyer.com

As to Artificial Lawyer’s plan for this next stage of growth in the legal tech market, it is to do what AL has always done: help drive change. And of course, legal AI is going to play a central part in this, as it always has.

As to the sabbatical, it’s been great and I’ll tell you more about the insights I’ve gained from this time in the coming weeks. But, suffice it to say for now, legal tech has never felt so much part of the wider changes going on in the world. We’re moving with the main AI (r)evolution, rather than to the side of it, with all the opportunities and challenges that will bring. Artificial Lawyer will once again be on this journey with you.

One thing is for sure, what’s coming will be systemically impactful. Some will oppose what’s happening outright, some will welcome everything come what may, and plenty will simply want to navigate the path ahead to get the advantages and avoid the pitfalls. Artificial Lawyer will be taking the ‘Middle Way’ – alive to both the pros and cons, the benefits and the dangers, but always seeking to drive forwards change in the hope of improving the legal sector for the benefit of not just lawyers and their clients, but the wider world and the economic needs within it.

There is so much to discuss, so much to explore, so many frontiers of what’s possible to be pushed forwards. I’m excited to reconnect with old friends around the world and hear about where you are now on your own journeys, as well as make the acquaintance of the new arrivals to our ever-growing legal tech village. Whether you’re a long-time reader, or just learning about Artificial Lawyer, I’d like to hear about what you’re doing.

All the best

Richard Tromans

Founder, Artificial Lawyer and Chair of the Legal Innovators conferences.

P.S. On the subject of conferences, if you’ve not already had a chance to check it out, then have a look at a great event coming up in San Francisco on June 4 + 5, which I’ll be chairing: Legal Innovators California. Plus, in November, Legal Innovators UK will be back once again in London and I’m looking forward to chairing that as well. See you all soon online, at events, and in the pages of Artificial Lawyer!
